This maybe the most boring post I've ever written to date...so beware of the boringness level. (Consider yourself warned)
7:00 - 9:30am
Started the day by doing laundry and minimal tidying up of my room. Afterthat I turned on the PC monitor that I turned off when I went to bed around 3am and continued working on experimenting and testing some website designs. Hmmmm slept for less than 4 hrs, then back infront of PC. Definately not a zombie but a serious case of PC addict.
9:30 - 10.45am
My dad asked me to cook Gulai Ikan Patin last night so I spent time in the kitchen cooking (FYI: I only do cooking upon request *sheepish smile*). I prepared asam pedas instead of asam tempoyak because, to my surprise our home-made tempoyak is temporarily out of stock until the next durian season or somebody from dad's family import the tempoyak from my kampung in Kuala Lipis. Not trying to brag myself up but gulai asam (both pedas and tempoyak), sambal tumis and masak lemak cili padi are my specialty when it comes to cooking malay cuisines and those 3 are the "winning" dishes on-demand that I cook at home.
Left: Steaming hot gulai on the stove, Right: Ready cooked Gulai on display :)
10:45 - 11:30am
I was getting myself ready to go out on a "ladies day out" with who else - Pidah (what can I say, she's my other half so her name is sort of like a recurring role here in my blog as is my life). Pidah picked me up around 11am. She arrived just as I did some light touch up on my face. Wanna look good today as I was about to meet Pidah's friend who helped me figuring out the mandarin song I longed to hear. Please read my previous post to understand what I'm saying.
11:30am - 12:30pm
Our destination was KLCC to meet Pidah's friends but first we had to made a stop at Jusco Maluri(JM). Went straight to the one and only optical shop where Pidah bought a spec for her sis and 2 boxes of lens for herself. I got myself new lenses too. Next to Secret Recipe and collected the Chocolate Indulgence cake that Pidah pre-ordered last night (yep...went to JM late last night to buy some presents) to belanja her friends. Then we paid the parking ticket and off we went to KLCC.
12:45 - 1:45pm
Arrived at KLCC and made a quick detour to maybank before meeting Pidah's friends to handed out the cake. Met Lean and Chen outside KLCC...Lean turned out to be a guy...all these while I thought he's a girl! Sorry Pid...tak focus on the word "He" you used whenever you talked about him. Made a change of place to watched a movie "Cuci" from TGV KLCC to GSC Berjaya Times Square(BTS). Paid the ticket and headed to BTS.
2:00 - 4:30pm
On our way, we passed by my old school that situated just behind the BTS building. It takes less than 5 minutes walk from my school. Thank goodness the place was not yet built during my school time. Old memories resurfaced as I remembered walking with friends in school uniforms and spent our before and after school times (during school time also...hehehe ponteng la tuh) at Sungei Wang and the surrounding areas.
After performing Dzuhur prayer we went to GSC to buy tickets. While in the queue Pidah suggested we changed movie to "The Game Plan". I liked the idea coz my friends gave good reviews on movie. Really wanted to see the movie last week but totally forgotten about it until today. The show only started at 4:30pm.
Can you believe those 2 different plates in the above pictures were mine and I ate the whole lot? Believe it or not...I did finished everything on the plates *blushing*. See the body la kannn...In my own defence, wanna let you know that's what happen when I had Brunch after 2pm at a restaurant called Hartz Chicken Buffet, my favourite place since 1999. Still angry with the price increase tho. Only 2 months ago the price was RM17.90++ and today it has gone up to RM19.90++. Back in 1999 the price was only RM12.90 with more food varieties. Ermmm...their price keep climbing up beyond the Everest but the food and services are sinking down the Mariana Trench...apa ceritaa....
4:30 - 6:40pm
Show time! The Game Plan is another Disney story great for those looking for light and clean comedy with great drama. There were funny LOL moments, heart melting, tears falling and finally big smiles in the end. Great movie...We enjoyed ourselves and recommend you to watch this movie if you haven't seen it yet...
By the way, here's one of the best part of the movie where Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson sing elvis song "Are you lonesome tonight" :

Man United vs Tottenham Hotspur 27/01/2008
Game : FA Cup
Date : 27/01/2008
Result : Man United 3 Tottenham 1
Goals : Robbie Keane 24, Carlos Tevez 38, Cristiano Ronaldo 69 and 88
We're in the fourth round of the FA Cup...I got distracted on yesterday matched. I was watching 2 different live telecasts at the same time. Tottenham took the lead by Robbie Keane's goal but Man United managed to catched up before the first half break. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to see Carlos Tevez scored. Thank goodness I got to watched both Cristiano Ronaldo's goals. And yeah...I'm happy that Paul Scholes is back on the field...he missed 18 games already.
Man United will face Arsenal on 16 February 2008 following the fifth round draw yesterday. I will definately mark the date on my calendar....Can't wait!

Rang Wo Huan Xi Rang Wo You - Emil Chau
"Make Me Happy Make Me Worry - Emil Chow @ Chau Wakin "
Ever since I heard this song again last week at KLCC, the melody keep haunting me. I did asked people around the centre court but they don't know who sang the song. I can't stop humming and I even dream of it. I was restless to find the singer and the song title. I googled, Youtubed and wiki'ed every cantopop singers i can remember but failed to find a single clue to bring me close enough to actually listen to the song again.
Why is this song special to me? Because it brings back memory of my school friends who taught me almost every popular songs. One of them is May Yee who actually taught me the song. She left this world last year. That is why I wanted to find it so badly.
Yesterday I played the tune on my keyboard in frustration. This morning I made a sample on how the song might sounds like and send it to Pidah in hope that her chinese friends would help me. It never occured to me that I could do that before...until now. I could ask my school friends in friendster to help me but I never thought of the idea.
Listen to my silly sample of the song that made me hummed days and nights:
(Opps...sorry I don't know how to add audio clip in blogger)
Its ok...the sample can be thrown to the recycled bin coz I'VE ALREADY GOT THE ORIGINAL SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Thanks to my best of the best of the best friend aka my cousin Pidah and Lean, her soon to be ex-coleague. My heart was beating so hard when I click the "play" button on YouTube. I gave a big Ronald McDonald smile on the first tune...and almost cried when I heard the 1st verse of "i dao jin tou fu sui nan shou ai you you hen you you".
Here's the song:
ai dao jin tou fu sui nan shou ai you you hen you you
wei he yao dao wu fa wan lu chai you xiang qi ni de wen rou
ge wo guan huai wei wo jei you we wo ping tian xu dou chou
zai shen ye wu jin deng hou du zi le lu du zi ren shouw

Today...I've been released from my agony....I feel free...I uncovered the mystery of the song that taunt me...I'm a free girl once again....ahhhhhhhhhhh....lovely song...great melody...

Some boring photos
These are few photos taken yesterday in different events:
1) Midnight Supper and Coffee - Old Town White Coffee, Cheras
Last night I went to Citybank and hung out with Pidah at Old Town in Cheras. I found out that the place is open 24 hours. Wah...interesting. Now I can choose either kopitiam or mamak as my after-midnight spot to lepak. As you can see from the pix, both of us drank Mocha Iced Coffee. I ordered Garlic butter Toast while Pidah prefered the Kaya and butter toast.
The place was packed with people mostly chinese...the ambience really represent a traditional chinese kopitiam with dirty tables, noises of people talking loudly, spoons and chopsticks flying and I've to mention a smelly toilet. I am not speaking in bad terms of the chinese but these are just some facts that we have to admit. It is reality and not just some make-up bullshit. If there is anyone feeling offended while reading this I am trully sorry. Just writing my thoughts...nothing more and nothing less. Afterall, We live together and I respect all of them as my fellow Malaysians . My next door neighbours are chinese and infront of my house is a buddist temple/tokkong. More than 70% of the students in my school were chinese where I was the only malay in my class at Bandaraya during form 4 and 5. Most of my friends at Stamford college were mostly chinese. So don't you dare tell me I'm racist OK! Gheee...i'm emotional today....why la?
Move to the next event then...
2) Catching an Evening Rainbow
Caught a rainbow on my digicam yesterday evening on the way back from my aunt's house. Can you spot the rainbow from the photos above? You might need to look deeper...It is somewhere between the lamp posts in the middle. Not so clear and bright but I love rainbow...always make my day to get a good look at the colourful scene.
3) Bullying my poor cat, Ollie
Look what I found yesterday morning when I woke up and went to the kitchen. My mom was making fool of Ollie. The theme, "Ollie the Whiskas King". Believe it or not, he did enjoyed himself being wrapped in that green whiskas cloth. Walked around the house wearing that ridiculous outfit showing off to my dad by jumping up on the table while he watched TV and then he even tried to sleep in that cape. Showed how much he love the gift by Whiskas.
That's all folks....

Story of my Family
Too lazy to update this blog last night. Well I don't really spent much time infront of my beloved PC since I've been out and about yesterday.
Spent the whole evening visiting Wak Mie, my 2nd aunt at Putra Height with my mom, Pidah and Wak Siti (Pidah's mom-my 5th aunt). So here I'd like to tell ya'll a little bit about my family on my mom's side.
My mom is the youngest of 6 sibling sisters and being refered to as Bibik Jar. Wak Bariah, the eldest sister who lived in Tanjung Malim, Perak passed away 2 years ago. Two of my aunts (Wak Nong and Wak Nah) live in my mom's hometown, Kuala Selangor while my mother, Wak Siti and Wak Mie live in the outskirt of KL. That is why I am closer to my KL aunts' families compared to to those in kampung. All 3 families used to live nearby (Cheras Baru and Bandar Tun Razak) . In 2002, Wak Siti's family moved slightly further down of Cheras to Taman Kota Cheras. Last year Wak Mie's family moved to Putra Height, somewhere between PJ-Puchong area I think.
I'm from Javanese decendance. My great grandmother came from a village named Banyu Mas, Java Island in 1800. That's why we are using the title of Wak, Paman and Bibik in the family as a way to show respects and seniority. Wak is the title to the elder aunts or uncle while bibik is for the younger aunts and Paman for the younger uncle.
My grandma (Hjh Halimah) is now 83. Not as strong as she used to be but still a tough old woman. She's like an iron lady...a survivor of 2 different cancers, cervic/uterus and tonsil (need to double check with my mom later). Of all the family, my family went back to Kuala Selangor the least. My mom left Kampung in 1973 and since then she seldom came back especially after she got married. We only paid visits once or twice a year during raya celebrations. However we managed to pay my grandma more frequent visits these past few years now I'm big enough to drive. Nowadays I try to visit Nenek as often as I could and bring my mom back to kampung with me. Its time to move on from everything that hold us back...
During my mom's younger years, she was very close to her grandmother (My Great Grandmother/moyang) compared to her mother. Most of her elder sisters got married early and left home to started their own family. My moyang was her best friend after Wak Siti (Pidah's mom) went to study in boarding school. My mom's heart was broken when my moyang died of old age in 1973 just few months before she started working in KL. She had promised her to buy a present using her first month of salary. Ahhh...suddenly I'm in tears...sob sob sob...I felt sad for her coz she still regret it til today. She never failed to mentioned this everytime we talked about her younger life. Some memories are hard to swallow and they keep coming back to us. Guess that is why my mom didn't fancy going back to kampung before.
By the way, lets move on to my grandfather (Hj Ahmad Chakri) . He passed away in 1985 of kidney failure (need to double check too). I didn't get the chance to really get to know him better. My mom often told me stories about how great he was in everything that he did. He was a handyman, an engineer, a carpenter and a mechanic all in one. Guess that's where my mom got the skills to do stuffs. She used to followed him around watching and learning by his side from fixing bikes to repairing electrical items to carpentry to cooking...everything!!! Including his bad temper and impatience to do everything so quickly(oops....ampun mak!)
So there goes a story of my family. I wanted to write more but my fingers doesn't seem to colaborate well with the speed of my brain at the moment. I'd like to try and write serious article about my mom's family. Perhaps I can try to get it published someday hehehehe my dream....well as my beloved cousin said " Tak salah mimpi...Mimpi tu tak kena bayar" (softly translated to : "We are free to dream coz dream don't cost a thing") .
To all my family, friends and you...whoever you are...

Me and Astro...
My Astro account was suspended this afternoon. What the *toooot*. I thought I direct debit every month. I called customer service in October asking them to set the auto debit for my account so I assumed it has already been deducted monthly. I am so lazy to open the statement letter but today when I opened it (after realized my account kena block) Gheee....RM257.93.
Chesss...hampeh daun kelapa (literally translated as coconut leave waste...hmmm....whatever....). So I went to post office and paid the bill. Kopak lagi aku...I wont bother much to rush and pay if not because of my father kept mumbling and complaining and whining about not being able to watch his fave girl Maria Sharapova played against Henin in semi final of Australian Open.
I called Astro's customer service to activate my acount and "accidently" raised my voice to a poor girl named Ira. I don't care....I just want to make complaint. I did called them twice last year to set auto debit but they failed to do it. My credit card is clean so what the *toot* that hold them. That girl Ira told me that the record showed that I did called requesting auto debit but "somehow" the action has not been forwarded. She offered to do it for me but I simply said "No thank you! Akak call citibank directly senang cerita. Korang cakap akan buat tapi tak buat buat. Ingat nak menyenangkan diri rupanya menyusahkan orang jugak." or something like that la...
Luckily the account has been activated immediately...kalau tak mau kena bambu lagi kang...

Food : Western Lunch Meal
Today I made pasta and chicken soup for brunch. The meal is so easy to make if you're suddenly craving for italian pasta and soup. Follow the rough guide of the recipes for both menu. I left out the propotion for each ingredients so you have flexibility on how much you want to use the ingredients. But believe me it is easy to cook these yourself!
Chicken herbs Soup/ Broth
1) Put chicken, salt, garlic, ginger, black pepper and mixed herbs into a pot.
2) Add water above chicken level and and bring to a boil until the chicken is tender. Unlike me, if you are health concious, remove the fat formed on the pot surface.
3) Add vege of your choice. I always put sweet peas, potatoes and carrots. For for this menu I just used sweet peas.
4) Sprinkle more mixed herbs or fresh herbs before turning off the heat.
Penne in Tomato Sauce with mushroom Sausage
1) Cook penne (or any other type of pasta) and drain.
2) Chop garlic (I use smoke garlic for better aroma) tomatoes and onion and saute in oil (great if you have olive oil in stock).
3) Add sliced sausages. I used Ayamas Mushroom Chicken Frankfurter.
4) Add tomato puree (I prefer Ayam brand for the colour), mixed herbs and a pinch of salt.
5) Add sweet peas or other vege of your choice.
6) If the sauce is too thick, add water. I just used the soup I prepared earlier.
7) Finally pour in the drained penne. Well mix the sauce and pasta. Serve immediately.

It has been a while since I last made any post on Man United. Ever since YouTube blocked the video highlights of EPL and EUFA matches I've lost interest to blog about the team. I guess I should get back to update the info coz I missed few of the matches.
Last match
Man United vs Reading result : 2 - 0 (goals by Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo)
Match Schedules
Premier League Table
As we can see from the latest premier league table, although we tied in points with Arsenal, Man United is in the lead by goals scored...So I'm chanting Glory Glory Man United!!!

Politic talk...gives me headache
I watched "Man of the Year" on HBO just now. Robin Williams starred as Tom Dobbs, a comedian and host of talk show who runs for president. A flaw in the electronic voting systems wins him the election and become the new president of United States, to everyone surprised including himself. I'm not here to make review on the movie but it was one of the joke quotes that caught my attention.
“Politicians and baby diapers are alike… in that they should be changed often and for the same reason"
Considering the situation of current government I agree with the statement....its true in every way. I used to love talking about politics and economy in this country but not anymore. Malaysia's political scenes and our economy spectrum sucks after Tun Dr mahathir stepped down. Nothing seems to be interesting to follow anymore.
I miss Tun very much. I remember paying my full attention to him every time he's on TV talking for press conference, interviews, UMNO speech and even the Budget session. He spoke with passions and energy unlike some leaders who only mumble and grumble but incapable of making bold and intelectual statements. During Tun era, I read newspaper everyday to follow current issues and I wanted to know if he was in or out of the country, which conference and summit he'd be delivering speeches and so on. I even bought few books about him. I'm not obsessed on him but I really wanted to get to know this complex ambitious figure, a controversial man who had visions for his people and the land he administered. He was full of confidence and charisma. He showed us that he was indeed the leader of our nation. I really love him...no matter what people said about him he is still my man...the man who made me proud of being Malaysian. His legacy remains for his contributions as the Prime Minister who brought Malaysia to the eyes of the people and to the rest of the world. Everytime I see Petronas twin tower or when I'm at Putrajaya, I always remember him. I even shed tears when I saw his photos from Marina's blog. That's enough to show how much I adores him as the Great Father of Malaysia. He is one heck of a politician who don't need diapers because he can surely wash himself...unlike others who over-used their diapers but still don't realise or want to admit that they smell like shits...Opps...this is what happen when I talk about current politic. It sucks and I just don't want to bother until I see some leadership in I-know-and-you-know-who. I can't write nor speak the name coz his name is "tabooo" (like "Voldermort" if you follow the Harry Potter story).
The truth is I-know-and-you-know-who will always be in the shadow of Tun until he find ways to step up and be the man he should be. It takes more than the title of PM to actually become one. This country need someone who make her feel proud of bearing Malaysia name while we, malaysians has be part of the system...not the one to be bullied by the system. Tun modernized this country but I'm afraid that we're heading to the de-modernized Malaysia. I can't let this to happen. As the general election is around the corner, unless the previously elected people clean their asses now (I doubt it), the majority might put on the new babies with clean Mami poko's in the new line up.
OK la...I had enough of political talk...I believe I got migraine already...Aiyoo...later la...cannot stand laaa...

Anyone wanna Beef Steak and Lamb Chop?
Burppp....Alhamdulillah. Just ate home made beef steak & lamb chop with mushroom black pepper and vegetables. It was all started when I chatted with Pidah on YM. She was fasting today (3 days puasa sunat hari Asyura/10 muharram) and craved for Beef Steak. I googled for beef steak images and sent to her just to make her air liur meleleh (naughty me...!). I got punished right away coz suddenly I was the one yang meleleh to the extend that I volunteer myself to cook for her and for me la jugak. Anyway thanks to my cousin Pidah who provide the supplies. We made a quick shopping at Jusco Maluri...it took us only an hour to buy groceries. Check out the parking ticket pix below. We entered Jusco at 16:44pm and paid the ticket exactly 1 hour later at 17:44pm. Cool eh?

So here's the meal prepared. I noticed that batik table cloth and transparent plates made my pictures dull and bland. So I'm waiting for Pidah to update her blog with the pictures taken on blue table cloth.
There were 2 versions of beefs here. We bought 3 pieces of marinated beef and another 3 pieces which I marinated myself. Here's the recipe for the sauce used to marinate the beef:
1) Blend : Black Pepper and Smoke garlic (with skin on)
2) Mixed together : HP BBQ Sauce, Knorr BBQ Sauce (Spicy) and honey with the blended pepper and garlic. Add dried mixed herbs (and fresh rosemary if you have it in your fridge).
3) Rub the mixture on meats. Put in plastic wrapper, seal it and marinate until you are ready to cook.
Mashed Potato and Vegetables with Garlic Cream Dip
Complete Meal on a plate
Aiyo, the second picture with sauce covering the meat is blur la. By the way that long brown thingy on the center of that plate is mushroom sausage.
I forgot to take picture of my mushroom & black pepper sauce but here's the recipe anyway:
Complete Meal in a Container
Ready for take-away! These were some of the left over. Still plenty considering Pidah only managed a single piece of beef steak and sausage. She don't eat lamb chop...maybe because she was born in the year of Sheep/goat so she avoid eating them...mbeeeekkkk ahakssss....
Oh ya! This is a picture of my dad's plate. Since he is having toothache, I made him coleslaw coz he might not be able to eat those hard vege I prepared earlier. Then he wanted french fries over mashed potatoes so I fried some for him. Surprisingly he had no problem eating those chewy lamb chop. Well what can I say, lamb is his favourite...come toothache or headache or fever, he still can eat lamb.

My Story : Sleep Sleep I want you...
I was thinking of taking a short nap but my eyes doesn't want to shut and my mind seems to be interested to wandering about nothing and refuse to rest. I just made a new record of staying awake for 33 hours without a single second nap. 3 years ago my body can take the whole 2 days without sleep (with the help of lotta coffee I must admit :)) but now as time goes by I don't think I can survive that anymore. But we'll see how I'm doing today. So far I feel OK...no dizziness or mood swing yet.
I'm about to meet my uni friend, Nik at KLCC in about 2 hours. I thought of going by public transport but after "deep" consideration of the cost and time consume I decided to just drive there. The parking cost RM7 max hour so ok la kan. If I use public transport I have to pay RM4 for the bus (The Utama bus from my house to Maluri, then another RM2 for Bandar bus from Maluri to KLCC). Then I surely have to grab a cab home which cost around RM8 to 10 (before midnight rate). So to sum up...I will need at least RM15 to spent on fares compared to RM7 for parking (no need to pay gas....tank still full compliment of Mak Yah...ehehehe).
Aiyo almost 5:30pm. Better mandi and get ready...
later mates...

Renovation Completed (for the time being)
Pheuh...Yeay!!! I manage to finished the make-over of my blog. You might find the new look "too colourful" but I believe those colours give life to the pitched black background. I just got the copy of Photoshop CS2 installer yesterday. I've been spending the whole night getting my brain to work on creative designs for this blog and other projects I am suppose to kick-off a week ago. Still not feeling sleepy...so I'll just stay awake until my eyes call it a day but as adviced by my beloved cousin I will not sleep after dawn! But I'll try to get some sleep in the afternoon....can aaa?? heheheh
Still waiting for my new streamyx account. Those streamyx people aaa very annoying tau! Called yesterday and one of the customer service staff said telekom haven't assign jumper port for my account. What the *toooot*!! dsl line is already available la ngok and I've been using it since last sunday whatttt...Opps...heheheh had to borrow someone else's account lohh...just wanna "try" the connection maaaa (I'm innocent tau *wink*). According to that guy, I need to wait for another 3-7 days to get my id and password. Sabo je laaa...
So alright then, I'm off for another round of yahoo! pool. I miss playing this game like crazy. I'm currently playing opposite an old bloke from Surrey, England who had won 3 games on the row coz I wasn't concentrating on the table. I'm doing what most people are doing nowadays which is Multitasking...play online game, updating blog, reading email, watching video on YouTube, drinking coffee and biting nails all in 1 while sitting on a chair staring on the monitor screen.
Til then....have a great day!!!

My Best Friends' Reunion Part 2
Went to a reunion yesterday at Tesco Ampang. Aishah planned a surprise by inviting Ina, another good friend of mine from Bandaraya. We lost contact with each other when Ina's phone was stolen 2 years ago.
Anyway it was a great meeting. We chatted and chatted for hours from Kluang Station to KFC. I will remember yesterday as one of the best day of my life in 2008. What a wonderful thing to happen on the first month of new year, which gave me a thought on how I want 2008 to be a year to rekindle friendship and strengthen relationship.I need to make amendment to my original post on "My Best Friends' Reunion. There are some facts I have to alter on how Ogy, Aisyah and I became friends and to add Ina in my story.
1. Ina and Aisyah were my classmates at Bandaraya. Both of them changed school to Puteri Wilayah on the sponsorship of Yayasan Selangor.
2. Ogy, Ina and Aisyah were hostel mates at Puteri Wilayah. Aisyah did some match making for Ogy and her friend from Yayasan Selangor named Azmi. Ogy and Azmi became couple and they got married in December 2005 thanks to Aisyah who introduced them back during high school.
3. It was not during brief intoduction that I came to know that Ogy and Aisyah were frends. Aisyah did informed both of us earlier so that we would find each other on our first day at RTM.
That's all folk!!

My Best Friends' Reunion
I am going to a small get together/reunion meeting with my old good friends Ogy and Aisyah this evening. The meeting place is still not confirm yet but most probably at either Tesco Ampang(been here yesterday) or Jusco Maluri(been here the day before yesterday). Aisyah is married and currently live and work in Temerloh. Ogy is also married and working with the government as PTD. Meeting 2 mummies is not easy these days so I am looking forward to spending time with them. It has been a while since I met both of them. The last time would be during Aidilfitri's open house months ago.
It is really an interesting story on how both became one of my few best friends. Aisyah was my classmate at Bandaraya Girl School since form 1 until she changed school to Puteri Wilayah during our form 4. She happened to be my closest malay friend at school. Ogy on the other hand was Aisyah's classmate/dorm mate at Puteri Wilayah and they happen to be good friends too. I never knew Ogy until December 2001. I met her when both of us reported duty at RTM as trainee officer. Called it fate that we were both assigned to the same office, the radio R&D Unit. During our brief introductions I came to know that she was Aisyah's friend when we were chatting bout our high schools. I can't believe how fate linked us together as best friends.
Can't wait!!!

My "Expressway Night"
The KL-Putrajaya Expressway or KLPE (formally named KL-KLIA Dedicated Expressway) is stretch on a 26km long route that opened to traffic on 13 December 2007. Currently still toll free until tomorrow (pheuh...lucky us). The toll rates are yet to be announced. This expressway doesn't actually exit at Putrajaya but at Cyberjaya where you'll find landmarks after the Putrajaya interchange to be MEASAT building on the Left and TMnet building on the right. It took about 20 minutes on leisurely speeds to reached Putrajaya. Spent few minutes enjoying night visions of Putrajaya from the side road before turning around and hit the highway again.
Be alert on the entry point of this expressway from Cyberjaya. We meant to followed the same route back to KL but somehow missed the interchange on Putrajaya Link and ended up being on North-South Expressway Central Link (better known as ELITE highway) all the way til NKVE interchange at Subang. The toll rate was RM7.50. We then followed the NKVE (North Klang Valley Expressway) to Mont Kiara Interchange that lead us to Jalan Istana. Dang the traffic jam at Jalan Loke Yew after midnight. The bottleneck detour really pissed us off...took almost 10 minutes to drove through only 3-4 km road.

My Story : An After Effect of Seafood
I caught a sore throat and runny nose since yesterday. Blame it on the seafood (Boleh ka?). Been looking around for ponstan in stock but when I found it I noticed the expiry date had passed :( So I just grab panadol soluble which I would avoid taking if possible coz I can't stand the taste and smell. Afterall...pananol doesn't work well with my body. Well beggers cant be choosers...
Today I have a focus group discussion on Project Starbright at SS2 PJ. It is going to be a discussion on the subject of junk food. I can't wait! I always enjoyed being in a survey regarding food and drink coz I kind of an "expert" on the matter ahaksss.
OK i'm off to prepare my dad his on-request lunch meal Masak Lemak Cili padi Ikan Bagok/Mayong with ikan masin tenggiri and terung rebus before I leave home for my meeting. I happen to be good at cooking malay and western food (angkat bakul jap). If anyone want to sample my cooking just let me know and for your information I am accepting catering for small functions. If you're interested just mail me your request and I'll provide menu list or you can send me your own menu list. The website on my catering service is still under construction. I'll post it here once available OK. hehehehe pre-promotion for my blog readers.

My Story : Seafood Galore
Went back to Kuala Selangor again with my mom on Saturday. My aunt and Pidah were there too. On the way I made a quick stop at Pantai Remis (the one in Jeram, Selangor) and bought some clams...different type of clams and mussels. Mentarang, kerang besar, kijang and another clam that look like french escargo but smaller in size. Just cooked in boiled water, scooped it up and dipped in a mix of soy and chilli sauce with a touch of few bird eye chillies...whalllaawehhhh...sedap sehingga menjilat siku hehehe. Point to note : Don't talk about cholesterol while you eat seafood or you might be "siku'ed" by the nearest member of your table. You are lucky that my siku didn't find you Pidah ahakss..
Too bad I forgot to snap some photos :(
On the way back to KL, we made another quick stop and bought kerang and lokan. Earlier, we went to Sungai Buloh/Sasaran market to buy Crabs (Big one!) and some fishes like mayong, kembong and this weird fish I don't know the name that has no bones (yeahhh right...it actually has bones like the one in canned sardines).

My Story : 2008 So Called Resolution
Feel like knocking these keypads for few words to write about my 2008 RESOLUTION. I've to admit that I'm a "go with the flow" kinda gal where my life cannot be planned. So why should I have one now? The truth is...I can never keep track of what my resolutions are. As days turn to week and weeks turn to month and then finally months turn to a year, I realised that I'm in a brand new year where I need to get ready with new resolutions so I have an answer when people around ask "what is your resolution this year?". I don't know why this year seems to be different than previous years but I feel like making my own so called "Resolution wishlist" and try to stick to it and monitor the progress. I know I have the drive and some oils to burn but what I need is the map and directions. I got lost so many times before. Too often I reached a place I thought was my destination but ended up being on a dead end where I had to turn around and continue my journey looking for new place. I made few stops but never stay long enough to enjoyed my stay. I switched lanes few times but never find the right speeds to accommodated my inbalance energy.
Last year I was a lazybum...a couch potato...procrastinator or anything with the same meaning. Too lazy to work because I was having a syndrome called "WIOES" an abbreviation of "working in Office environment sucks" and I have a phobia of attending interviews that I called "Jiilpita-phobic" or "Job Interview is a pain in the ass". I need a shrink to tell me whatto do because deep down inside I know I have a problem to cope but can't admit. Everytime I went for interview I panic, sweating, shaking and mumbling during interview session. Then after the interview I wished I didn't get the job for all the wrong reasons...I don't like the job, too far, too difficult, too boring, too many malays, I have no experience, environment not interesting enough...ect. I've been wasting my time dreaming and wishing for something but doing nothing. I'm too afraid to take actions. Scared that I can't finish what I started. Too chicken to give myself hope and worried about dissapointing those around me with my plans. People around are more concern about me than I am concerning about myself. I need help...I do. I can't move forward until I can resolved this matter.
So here is my first and foremost resolution : To help myself finding my inner self to build confidence and gain back my self esteem that somehow had left me not long ago. Everything has to start from the inside. I wanna be a better muslim, a better daughter, a better relative, a better friend...to sum up as a BETTER PERSON.
Reading back what I just wrote made me wonder...What the heck was I rambling about. I love using metaphores so I may sounds like a philosopher...but aint we all when it comes to life? You might not understand what I'm saying coz sometimes I don't either but I just feel great pouring all my thoughts here.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I am still not too late to wish you all :
I am still stranded in NoDSL land at the moment where the nearest inhabitant town is the SlowDialUp. It takes a lot of time to reach there...the traffic is crazily hectic so I just slay low and stay inside my cacoon and hybernate. Well that is my excuse for not updating this blog. Lame reason but hey! at least I came up with something right?
