My dusty old musical Instruments

What a boring sunday. Besides blogging I decided to polish my old music instruments. Does it look shiny to you? Nehh...ancient stuffs...but one of the few of my possessions. I will include those in my will when I write one someday. They've been on display more than on the stand or my hand. I had recorder and harmonica once but gave it to Fatihah, my niece (my half-bro's daugher).

I love music...always try to play music simply based on my listening. I wish I can play piano but I can't. I read notes...but hate those taugeh. Too slow to catch up looking at the sheet and the keys at the same time. Being a left-handed I find it very difficult to learn musical instruments especially piano as you must master your mind and coordinating your left hands with your right hand. I just can't do it! I ended up moving only 1 hand at a time. So that's why I just play keyboard hehehe....preset, ad-lib, mixers...That old keyboard has been with me for 17 years. I played old simple begginner's to intermediate level of classical music and some of my family favourite songs of the 50s,60s and the 70s. I'm an old soul...what can I say.

As for the guitar, if you look closer you might realised that I've changed the strings in reversal to the usual one. I bought that Kapok in 1997 determined to learnt how to play by using a book. A BOOK!! Crazy ehhh? How can we learn it by book. I don't have some one to teach me. i can't affort a tutor. My dad wont teach me. I got so jelous watching him played all sorts of musical instruments and wished I can do the same. I changed the strings order to make it easier for me to learn using left hand. My father got really mad at me for doing that and after that he never play my guitar hehehehe meanie me. Anyhow I still suck at guitar...my fingers are too short and big. Complaint complaint complaint...hard to admit your weaknesses and put the blame on something else ahakss...thats me...bad honey...bad honey...bang bang bang....(like what dobby did-Harry Potter again...sorry if you missed the not so funny joke).

I'll try and play some tunes and post it in here if I'm not too embarrashed of that piece to share it with you guys. I'm already rusty...better polish my skill (if I got it la) now.
