I was reading Rickey's blog when I learnt that actor Heath Ledger was found dead in his bedroom few hours ago in a possible drug-related death. I was shocked!
He was only 28 and in prime of his career after playing a powerful portrayal of Ennis Del Mar in Brokeback Mountain. Ya it is a gay theme movie and I admit that I do watch movie or drama with homosexual theme. I watched Brokeback few times because I was really moved by his role. Definately the best gay theme movie I've ever seen. Love is universal...how can you deny it...doesn't matter who you love. That is my take on this stuff.
Brokeback is indeed a great love story that ended in tragedy. The tragedy had now haunted one of the actor who survived in the story but not in his real life.
His death reminded me of River Phoenix who died of OD at his early 20s. It is very sad to loose such great young talents in the hands of their own...
