Sepang A1 GP - Race Day

Oopss I did it again....dunno why it is so difficult for me to update this blog *sigh*

Went to watched A1 GP at Sepang Circuit last sunday with my cousin. She got free entrance passes from Jobstreet and of all the people she picked me to accompany her!!! heheheeheh...thanks sis!

This is my first GP so I was beyond excited even a week before the event. I tried to buy a nice yellow t-shirt just to support malaysia team but nothing seems to fit me :( but luckily I found a yellow shirt in my wardrobe...jadik la...janji kuning. Although my cousin didn't wear yellow + black outfit...honestly she had the best interest in Malaysia team than most of us who came wearing those colours coz she kept it in her heart ;) Check out her blog here.

Arrived@Sepang at around 10:30am. First we walked through stalls selling food to get my breakfast...my stomach was growling but the food sold there were pathetic to the max! I can't even 't describe it here...I don't mind paying more on food if it worth the money but goodness...imagine buying a single keropok lekor or goreng pisang for 60 cent and overcooked extra thin cold fries for RM5.

Anyway...forget about the food...overall we really had wonderful time spending the whole day there (minus 2 hours of our time spent at KLIA after the morning sprint race). I can't believe that listening to the sound of roaring engines vroooooooooommmmmmmmm zrooommmmmmmmm is so &#$%^& great! It actually brought a kind of peace in me. The feeling of being able to seat/stand at Sepang GP grandstand was awsome...The atmosphere was great with cheering supportive crowds and yeah the weather so nice too.

Although Malaysia team didn't make it to the podium I'm still proud of them. We just had a bad day last Sunday but I know Fairuz Fauzy and the team will make it up to us Malaysians and do us proud in the coming GP at Taupo, New Zealand in January. I can see the future of A1 is very promising to our young Malaysian.

Here's some pictures taken during the day:

Manchester United's Stats N Facts

This is my first entry on Manchester United this season so I just put the latest updates in this post. Not much to say about United as they are in better forms now that we're in November compared to their early start of season's matches. Rooney, Ronaldo and Berba seems to be getting along well and it shows in previous games tho Rooney needs to stay calm and cool at times.

So here's Man United's results and ranks at the moment...

Dunno what to put as title!

First thing I must do to keep this blog alive is to create a new template...then I need to start cooking again so I can snap few photos and upload on to this blog. Then I have to keep track of EPL's Man United matches so I can review or at least comment on each game.

I CAN DO IT!!! I WILL DO IT!!!

Hello again....

Ghee....been abandoning this blog for a while now. Not that I don't have stuffs to write about but I just lost interest in writing especially that now I am officially PC-less. My PC at home just left me for good..she's gone kaput for almost a month now and I gave up on her...I just let her go..and may she rest in peace. Thank goodness I got my own pc in the office or I will definately going bonkers...

I'm still working in the same office for the last 5 months....hehehehe...Yeay!!! Considering my history of jumping jobs...I'm proud of myself for staying this long.

Well...some updates on football. EPL is just around the corner. Man United will face Newcastle on Sunday. I can't wait. Watched the replay of Community Shield match against Portsmouth. We need striker so badly. We cannot let Tevez ran all around the field by himself.

Seems like Cristiano Ronaldo is to stay in the team. 2 days ago paper said Ferguson is interested in buying Thierry Henry but yesterday its Dimitar Berbatov that Ferguson is after (tho he's been wanting him since last season)...just wait and see.

OK thats all la...til later.

Cleaning the room but ended up messing it more..

I'm in my messy bedroom with stuffs scatter all around...on the floor...on my bed...under the table...everywhere. This is one freaking kapal karam area. I thought I saw a mouse or a rat just now (or my vision is doing a trick on me). I've been sleeping on the couch coz my bed is currently not a bed...i turn it into a temporary storage platform. It takes me a week to reshuffle and clean this room and I ain't finish yet. There's too many things in this room and so out of space! I'm a junkie!! Nothing to do with drug...I've problem to throw stuffs away. I'm a pack rat tho not an obsessive hoarder. I hate the idea where I regret tossing some things that I might wanna use again.

I've counted 14 boxes & containers in different sizes packed with :
1. My files, folders & notebooks I kept since primary school (buku darjah 1 pun ada lagi)
2. Man United's collectable items & memorabilia
3. Stuffs I bought (from car boot sales: glassware, china, soft toys, souveniers)
4. Stuffs I collected (brochures, pamplets, forms, booklets, wrappers, paperbags, plastic bags)
5. My old clothes which I can no longer wear and can't be fitted in the wardrobes and new clothes I knew wont fit me but I bought anyway hoping to lose some weight and wear it later.
6. Computer stuffs...cables, old speaker, few modems, adapters and cd-roms.
7. Broken radios, alams & clocks...photo frames, frameless photos, old calendars, used candles, pens, pencils, crayons...all the small thingy.
8. Misc stuffs I don't know how to describe...just put under X-file boxes...

There you go...I'm living in a store room...

I'm Back Again!!!

It has been almost a month since I last updated this blog. Met a friend yesterday who lectured/ more of "laser"ing me for putting up a blog but don't bother to make updates (you know who you are ;)...ehhehe). Well my reason is simple. I've lot to write about...but too damn lazy to actually knocking on the keyboard....lazzy buzzy me...what can I say.

Another reason being that EPL had wrapped up for the season...EURO is dull coz England did not qualify and most teams I supported had left before I could review them! I hate Pak Lah the sucker too much that writing about him in here is like menodai kesucian this blog. The never ending story on fuck lahab and his stupid ideas, price increases issues, inflation, lousy politics, corruptions...yada yada yada...waste of my valuable brain resources.

But there are few events that caught my interest to scrap on this post that happen last saturday - I went to my first Indian Wedding - 21/6/2008

It was the wedding of my cousin's colleague and i was invited to accompanying her to the reception (thanks sis!!). The ceremony took place fro 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We arrived around 7:45pm. They were serving vegetarian dinner. I'd say the food is delicious tho too spicy for my appetite. The ritual ceremony was a bit confusing to me...coz I don't really know the flow. I can see that there are few similarities with our malay wedding (mind that we did inheritted hinduism culture from our anchestors) like the pelamin set up, handing on token of appreciation for attendance (bunga telur-cenderahati).

After the reception my cousin and I went cruising the night in town with the "wedding syndrome" - meaning that the mind failed to register the meal we ate at the wedding leaving us still feeling hungry and craving for something like "the best mi goreng in town"...or burger king at MRR2...or "the sloppiest ramly burger"...get it?

We went searching for mee goreng that my cousin is craving crazily since last week at Jalan Ampang. Her friend recommended this place...we searched and searched that led us to a dead end road...crossed no-entry route and ended up in a dodgy area....still no sign of a stall nor a living soul. Aiyo...dissapointed to the pinky toe...Sooooooo finally we gave in and headed to my tempat lepak at Taman Kobena for mee goreng mamak with hugeee potion. Not the kind of mee we had in mind but boleh laaa...lepas gian...kang kempunan.

But hey! do you know a good place for mee goreng here at Klang Valley? Do let me know ok! We might be going for the next night cruise crawling for MEE GORENG BASAH TAPI TAK BANJIR...hehehehe

Wait for my next post coz I want to story pasal electricity and Pak Lah's electric face...

19 May 2008 in History : Tun Dr Mahathir Left UMNO

I felt like a bullet just hit me when I received a phone call from my mother to informed that Tun Dr Mahathir had left UMNO. I was shaking...I shed afew tears...and if not because I was in public place I would surely hauled like a baby.

I don't really know what made me so upset with his decision or how to describe my feelings. I guess it because I knew the time would come for this thing to happen but I hoped it would never come. I thought about the possibility of Tun to walked out of UMNO few years ago...due to the way UMNO leaders and members treated him after he stepped down as PM...Well I am just in denial at the time. Why? Because I know UMNO and Tun can never be separated. UMNO is in his blood. He'd been sacked from UMNO before but his loyalty stayed. He loves UMNO too much to announced that kind of nonsense.

Now that I am home...and I read his blog, I understand his motives...his desperation....and his hope. It is indeed a bold move considering the lack of support he gets these days...but I'll be behind him in every steps that he take. I don't have the power to influence people to see what he'd been through these past years after his resignation...the treatments he got from those who used to be behind him....the so called loyals.

I'm too obsessed with Che Det....coz he is my political idol. I grew up around people who believe in him and UMNO as their voices..medium for malays to be heard. I've been following up the politics ever since I was a student. I joined UMNO at the age of 20 because I believe in Tun (another reason is that I've been urged by my aunt who is UMNO's biggest supporter). Tun is my hero, Malaysia's No 1...he still is (deep in my heart). Because of him I traced the history routes of UMNO...reading stuffs that were never been put in school textbooks nor syllibus. I read books about him and books he'd written. The Malay Dilemma, The Other Side of Mahathir, The Way Forward and The Challenge...I learnt history through his experiences. Yes I've to admit my writing...my Ideas...are bias. I don't mind if you want to judge me and to mock me to be this sentimental towards Tun go ahead. I don't care. What can I say...I'M MAHATHIR'S GAL THROUGH AND THROUGH. I'm behind him all the way...

Ah....so many things on my mind at the mo but my fingers are too slow...

later la I continue my rantings...

Man United is Number 1!!!!!

Finally..its over now...Manchester United has been declared the league's champion.

I was nervous the whole day waiting for the game. My heart beats so fast on the kick-off...Playing against Wigan at their home field was not an easy tasks based on the track. But it all went well for united with 2 goals....the first was from penalty shot by Ronaldo and the second one from Ryan Giggs thru a great goal to seal United's victory. This is Giggs 10th championship titles with United and what made the day more special was that he finally drew level with Bobby Charlton on 758 appearances. Salute you Giggs...

I'm chanting Glory Glory man United for the last time this season...Its gonna be a boring 3 months without EPL... *sigh* Need to find a new sport to follow la..

Manchester United's Bulk Reviews

huhuhu...bulk reviews again. I'll start where I left you guys...With only one game left I'm nervous! Last match is tonight at 10pm!!!!

Chelsea is now level with United's in points but lack 17 goals to catch up. We need to win this last game against Wigan to claim the trophy. We can't rely on Chelsea to lose their last game. I'm optimistic but worry at the same. Gives me creeps everytime I think about the outcome of this season's finale. Cross my fingers and hope for the best! Glory Glory Man United.

========================================================

Game : EPL
Date : 3/5/2008
Result : Man United 4 West Ham 1
Goals : Ronaldo (3 & 24), Tevez (26), Ashton (28), Carrick (59)

My team thrashed West Ham at Old Trafford with 4 goals...I'm happy...everyone is happy :)except Chelsea's supporters. I can feel the crowning of the champion's title already. One more week to go...

========================================================

Game : Champions League
Date : 30/4/2008
Result : Man United 1 Barcelona 0
Goal : Paul Scholes

Scholes' goal in the 14th minute was enough to see Man United through to the final in Moscow. We deserved to win...United's players were playing their best and I enjoyed the matched. Hat's off to Scholes...he's the hero of the night.

Man United will meet Chelsea in the final...I have faith in them to bring back the trophy home...

Manchester United Bulk Review (27/4/2008)

What happened to Man United? All I can say is that they are doing their best to stay on top...tho their best is still not enough to most fans. It is not easy being on the hot spot coz fans has high expectation for them to win all matches...compared when they are trailing other teams. With 2 games to go in premiership, I have faith in them to bring the title back home to Old Trafford.

========================================================
Game : EPL
Date : 26/4/2008
Result : Man United 1 Chelsea 2
Goals : Ballack 45', 86' and Rooney 57'

Yes I am a little upset with last night's game against Chelsea. United was playing for the title whereas Chelsea was playing to saving the title. Congrats to Chelsea on their victory...It was them who worked harder and it paid off. Overall they are on top forms compared to Man United. Having said that Man United looked defeated as early as the first 10 minutes from kick-off. I don't understand why Ferguson rested Ronaldo and brought on Rooney when it was Rooney who is reported to be injured. I was a little mixed up with last night's starting line up.

I don't need to comment more on the game...

========================================================

Game : Champions League
Date : 24/4/2008
Result : Man United 0 Barcelona 0

Hot fact of the week on Man united's FC world...Cristiano Ronaldo missed his penalty. It was too early in the game for penalty considering they were in their 2nd minutes. But still costly...coz now United need to work hard in Old Trafford next wednesday. I'm not that worry knowing that they are playing better on home field...but they need to be really fit. Looking back at their past 2 games I am concern on the line-up. And yeah...hopefully Vidic is back on field.

Although United's performance failed to reach the standards they have set over the season I hope Wednesday morning will turn out to be a great game.

This Blog is Back on Public Mode...

Aiyo so sowi la I had to make this blog private for a while. I was messing around with the template's coding sampai berterabur...but now I decided to just revert to the original template. Maleh nak pikir...and not in the mood to be creative.

I've been very busy these past few weeks adjusting to new environment. Currently involved in web development with deadline just around the corner. Ramai tak percaya when I said that I work with the goverment but still went back home around 8-9pm. Yep...I'm bringing the private sector's nature...well at least until our project delivers la kan. After that hopefully we could be like normal gomen staffs.

To be honest the pay is not much...so don't expect me to belanja you guys Secret Recipe or Black Canyon every end of the months la ekk!! Not worth the hussle and bussle of staying back and foregone the lunch breaks actually when you think of the monetary value...but I do love the challenge where I get the chance to be involved in project development. We're the pioneer...that is why I enjoy the job (at the moment la...hopefully I don't get bored too early). There are 3 other great guys with me in IT unit. I prefer working with guys coz they are more easy going so tak banyak kena work on emotional parts. I can be as chirpy and moody and bitchy as I want. We worked our butts off to make this project successful and I pray that everything will be going well as planned insyaAllah.

So pardon me for my lack of interest in blogging world...I assure you that I'll be back on track once I settle my current obligation. So until then...wishing you a happy day....

Manchester United Bulk Review

Game : EPL
Date : 7/4/2008
Result : Man United 2 Middlesbrough 2
Goals : Ronaldo 10', Alves 35' and 56', Rooney 74'

What can I say....it was a fair game considering Man United's lack of consistency throughout the game. Again Rooney and Ronaldo saved the day with their goals. Bravo to United...Middlebrough did played their best to denied our early victory.

Tho now Chelsea has better chances to close the gap and steal United's top spot, I believe manchunians around the world still has faith in the team and will support them all the way to the end of this season.

5 more games to go...Next match is going to be on Sunday against Arsenal...I'm excited!!!

----------------------------------------------------------
Game : Champions League
Date : 10/4/2008
Result : Man United 1 Roma 0
Goal : Carlos Tevez 69'

United won the second-leg 1-0 and secured a victory with 3-0 aggregate to play against Barcelona in Semi Final.v Gary Neville is back! been sitting on the bench for too long...it's about time...

Well I suck at reviewing football match...so Don't expect me to write technical stuffs bout the game.

Can't wait for the match against Barcelona on 24/4/2008 in Spain and at Old Trafford a week later.

So til later...cheers.

Sunday at Sungai Congkak

My mom's office held a family day last sunday at Sungai Congkak. I was more excited on "berkubang" in the water than being in the programme. My mom participated in "menganyam ketupat" and got 3rd place. I played dart...only scored 24..pathetic ehh? Nevermind la for fun only.

Anyway, I snapped crapy images during the event but I managed to get some good pictures of the nature.

The Scenery:

The Flora:

I need to plan another trip to congkak in the near future. Guys...wanna lepak and mandi manda at Congkak...Picnic with BBQ...and perhaps daylight camping with bonfire? Interested? How bout this weekend? Let me know kay...

Poli-tik-us...Tun Dr Mahathir vs UMNO (ex-team B)

Draft penulisan untuk meja pengarang berita harian:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Kini Ku Li sekali lagi menawarkan diri bertanding kerusi presiden UMNO menentang Pak Lah.

------------------------------------
Actually ada panjang lagi cerita yang nak diluahkan tapi bila dah half way mengarang tiba-tiba rasa macam tak nak teruskan. I plan nak submit this piece of my mind kepada editor berita tapi pikir punya pikir...baik tak payah coz sure tak lepas tapisan since my writing was based on emotions rather than on rationale and facts. Tapi still nak share la gak kalau ada yang nak baca ahakss...tho I know ramai yang masuk blog ni tak minat politiking...

Garlic Bread and Spaghetti...

Since I'm too lazy to write personal updates...I just post some recipe and food pix taken last week on my birthday...

Garlic Bread/ Toast

I used to buy the pre-pack garlic bread but now I like to make it myself. It is actually very easy to prepare and I save lotta $$$$...Just buy the french bread at your local bakery shop. No need to buy the expensive one...only cost less than RM2 at La Boheme and Tesco.

The cost for the spread depends on your choice of butter. As for me I go for the cheap one for making garlic spread because I don't need strong buttery smell.

Ingredients for spread :

- Butter (in room temperature)
- Garlic (blend)
- Salt (if you're not using salted butter)
- Mixed herbs

Put everything in a container and mix. Use the plastic container with cover for easy storage in the fridge.

Slice french bread and spread the butter...hehehe as easy as 1 2 3. Don't forget to toast it first ya ;)

Spaghetti Bolognese

Also very easy to make if you choose simplicity over authentic.

Ingredients for the sauce :

  • Spaghetti
  • Salted butter
  • Tomato Puree (I prefer Ayam brand)
  • Minced meat (beef, chicken or mutton...I prefer beef)
  • Canned button Mushroom (finely sliced)
  • Carrot (dice)
  • Tomato (Riped...chopped)
  • Yellow Onion (dice)
  • Garlic (finely chopped)
  • mixed herbs
  • Parmesan cheese
How to cook?
  • Heat the butter in a large pan. Put in garlic and onion and cook until you smell the aroma of garlic and onion.
  • Add the meat and cook until there are no signs of pink.
  • Add mushroom, chopped tomato, carrot and keep stirring.
  • Put in tomato puree.
  • Add mixed herbs.
  • Pour in few glasses of water. Let it simmer but make sure it does not dry out.
  • Cook until the meat is cooked and turn to thick sauce.
  • Cook the spagetti according to package directions and then drain. Coat the spaghetti with olive oil (or butter) to avoid sticking.

Place the spaghetti on the plate and ladle the sauce over the top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve.

The sauce can also be use as pizza base, dip for nachos or toast...just expand your imagination and creativity...explore your inner self...hehehe like me. Just watch out the calory and fat stuffs la if you're on diet or just concern about your intake...my recipe might not be suitable for you...

This was my breakfast...with leftover spaghetti sauce and a simple onion mayo dip for the toast. This was actually too heavy even for me in the morning coz I usually don't take breakfast.

OK la...I'll be back soon.

Man United vs AS Roma 2/4/2008

American Idol & Akademi Fantasia

American Idol

I've lost interest in Idol since Amanda was kicked out of the competition. My early favourite, Michael Johns only shone during audition week. I want to like him more but I find him very boring. Same goes to Jason Castro...did great in the first 2 show but he is too cheesy for my taste. I used to watched American Idol religiously...refreshing rickeys.org every few seconds at 9am to get updates (I live in Malaysia...the show is only aired via satelite at 6pm). Now I've no more appetite for Idol...they are pimping that boy Archuletta to the point where I can't stand watching the show anymore. I agree with Blake Lewis...David Archuletta is boring. I blame him for making this year's Idol so dull. He overshine the other Davids (Cook and Hernandez) who obviously has better talents but less screaming underage fans... Don't shoot me for my personal opinion...i have wights to say whatever I want...this is my blog.

Akademi Fantasia

I've decided to support Nadia all the way, cheering her performances and when time comes I will vote for her...like what I've done to Farhan (although my votes can't win her the title of Juara AF...at least I tried). But time will tell...and I do hope Nadia is not just an early favourite like those I supported in Idol. Nadia has a bright future in entertainment industry if she is given the chance to explore her talents and to be managed by the right hands.

Anyway here's her performance last week. Not as good as I expected but can do la compared to others. Her performance infront of Ramli MS was way better that the concert day. I don't really like the music arrangement that night...

Go go Nadia...I support you...hehehehe

Man United vs Aston Villa 30/3/2008

Game : EPL
Date : 30/3/2008
Result : Man United 4 Aston Villa 0 (still in the game)
Goals : Ronaldo 17', Tevez 33', Rooney 53' and 70'

I'm multitasking...blogging and watching the live match at the same time. Man United strengthen their epl lead with tonight's victory over Aston Villa...still in the 77 min of the game but my team already secured their win unless Villa calls for help from a wizard or witch in the magical world of Harry Potter.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update on 31/3/2008

Glory glory Man United...the reds are marching on indeed! They are getting nearer to holding the cup but still not in the comfortable zone yet with only 5 points lead. The "Big Four" are still dominating the league...with Chelsea overtook the second spot from Arse-nal...huhuhu I likee :p

Man United will play against Roma on Wednesday morning in the first leg tie of Champions League...

DIGI and their Lousy Promotion

My mom received this sms from Digi on thursday :

Special Promo on Bonus Points! Grab a handset worth RM299 with 3000 points redemption at Midvalley North Court 28-30 of Redeem intantly while stocks last.

I received this sms on friday :

Redeem handset worth RM299 with 3000 bonus points@ Digi R/show Midvalley North Court 29-30Mar. Only 80 units/day. First come first served. Counter opens @10am

Digi didn't mentioned the phone brand & model for grab so I checked their website and found this promo :
I came to Midvalley yesterday afternoon only to find out that Digi offered only 50 phones per day. I didn't checked out the brand/model they gave coz the phones were long gone by the time I arrived. I assumed it was going to be same one as the online offer, which is Nokia 6120 with free bluetooth for 3,000 points.

So not to be dissapointed like yesterday, this morning me and my mom came yo Midvalley again as early as possible to be the first in queue. Few people already there! I was actually the 7th in line. I've been queueing since 8am...and the booth only opened at 10am!

While waiting I've been informed that Digi will not give the same phone as the one for online redemption!! Instead they gave Sony Ericsson J110i like the picture below.

I never heard of this phone and I didn't know the functions or the sale price of this model. From the picture I was quite impressed with the design so I thought ok la not bad apa the design. Look sleek some more...until I fully charged the battery and switched on the phone for the first time. Alamakssss...why the screen so like a toy phone...then I checked out the functions. Aiyooo...very basic to the max...when I said basic...really....really...really basic. Here's the spec :

This can't be a RM299 phone Digi claimed from the sms they sent to me. I felt cheated...I was angry...still am...tho it is a free phone (mind that I actually gave up 3000 points worth of RM120 should I use it to pay the bill) but still DIGI LIED TO ME AND TO OTHER CUSTOMERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO WENT TO QUEUED AND WAITED ONLY TO BE DISSAPOINTED...LIKE ME!!!!

Hmmm...I won't make noises if Digi was honest in their promotion. I'm not picky when it comes to owning a phone coz I always prefer the basic functions without heavy loads of features like camera, mp3, IR or bluetooth. BUT with RM299 phone I expected more than what they gave me. I bought my dearly departed phone for only RM250 but still got the mms, radio, headset, ringtone composer and wap functions with slim body, anti-slip backcover and bigger screen resolution.

Oh ya...let me introduce you to my dead phone who comitted suiside last month by flying out of an open car window and landed on a tar in the middle of Jalan Semantan. Alhamdulillah I managed to retrieved the main body to save the sim card but couldn't find the battery and back cover.

These 2 phones from the next pix are also in RIP mode. I got these phones for free when I subscribed to Vodafone in UK. That Samsung served me less than a year...comitted suicide by jumping in a hot mug of Nescafe while I was doing revision. Partly my fault for putting the phone on a high ground but it was my friend who shook the table that dropped the phone...plupppp...directly in the mug. Am I such a terrible owner?! The Panasonic phone served me the longest since late 2002. Just died in March last year as I couldn't find the replacement battery...ancient stuff when it comes to tech.

*sigh* I better stop now...but still...thanks mom for the thoughts of letting me use the phone. Appreciate it very much...muahssssssss

Me and my Coming Birthday

Thank you to frequent visitors of this blog...good to know there are few people really read what I had to say. My statcounter showed 63 page loads since monday. So I really do owe you who came in here for the past few days an apology for not updating this blog as often as I used to. I have nothing interesting to share with you guys and to be honest, I'm experiencing lack of excitement in live at the mo...I need action!!! And I want it now!!! hehehehe...easy said than done.

Tomorrow is my birthday. Gheee I'm going to be 30 in less than 20 hours (considering I was born at 7.05am). Aiyo new decade already meh? so fast woo...Thank goodness age ain't nothing but a number :) Need to comfort myself because deep down I know I'm aging physically...mentally...spiritually...emotionally...socially and of course financially. Looking back...I realize that I am far from reaching my future dream. I'm still struggling at the bottom of my survival span when most people my age already accomplished half of their goals in life. I'm not envious of them nor that I care what other people think bout me. I am a late starter in almost everything that I do but I always get what I want eventually...alhamdulillah and insyaAllah.

Few days ago a friend of mine post some kind of personality traits based on the day you were born in her blog. I find it interesting so I'd like to paste it in here..hope you don't mind Cik Zai.

no.3----Anda adalah seorang yang berhati keras (erm...keras macam batu), pentingkan diri sendiri (I think so...in some ways), kuat agama (erk...insaf kejap) dan suka untuk mempertingkatkan kehidupan sendiri (hmmm...still struggling). Anda mempunyai masalah keluarga (so does everybody...masalah universal) dan anda dapat mengharungi dengan kesabaran anda (insyaAllah). Anda sangat pandai bercakap (huhuhu...I pendiam la. So shy one *blush*), wajah yang cantik (erkk...beauty lies in the eyes of beholder), jadi ke mana saja anda pergi anda akan dapat apa yang anda inginkan (I wish). Daripada hari lahir anda, anda perlu berkerja keras untuk berjaya (I notice that...nothing easy in this life).

Movie : Rule # 1 (Cantonese)

Went to Leisure Mall for a free movie Rule # 1...My pet bro won few complimentary movie passes and he was kind enough to share it with me ;) Thanks!

Rating...I'm giving 3/5. I would rate higher but I've seen a similar movie called Fallen starring Denzel Washington...so its not an original play. In the beginning, plots movements were too slow but after a while the pace started to build up. Although the storyline was quite confusing, I like the directions of this movie with many twists and turns giving different perspectives of whether it was a reality, dream or made up stuffs. It requires lots of concentration and focus on details to understand the actual events. The suspense scenes were a little stereotype...just like most horror films.

The female co-star Fiona Xie look so familiar. I thought she is an actress from Hong Kong but I can't recall any of her film or drama. I googled her name and...wallawehhh no wonder la I've seen her before...she's that Singaporean host of "Coffee Talk and Hawker Woks" from Asia Food Channel.

Nadia Akademi Fantasia 6

I've got a crush on this girl...hahahaha kidding! But really...she's sweet and beautiful but not the gedik type of girl. Being an 18 years old teenager, she look and act more mature than most of the girls in AF6. Smiling eyes...big voice...big hair...big talent...big potential...qualities that I believe will help her sailing through in Akademi Fantasia this season (hopefully...).

I wish her all the best. She reminded meof Farhan. She gave me goosebumps yesterday like farhan did to me 2 years ago. Go go go Nadia! I'm not a big fan of Akademi Fantasia...but I'll keep my eyes on her hehehehehe...(sounds so lesbo la...ahakss)

Weekend Lunch

Sup Daging & Tulang

My dad's favourite...

Sambal Belacan

My mom's sambal...the best dish to compliment all of the above...

Me and Kunci Khazanah 2

I never thought of seeing myself on TV again until this morning when my dad knocked on my door at 6am just to tell me I was on Ria. Astro Ria make a rerun of the second season's Kunci Khazanah which I participated.

Thank goodness it was on a 6am slot...I believe (and hope) less than 0.1% of ASTRO subscribers ever watched Ria in the morning...pheuh.

I still can't get over 1 of the questions..."Apakah bulan ke-10 kalendar Islam?" with 6 letters where last letter L was already given. All the months jumbled up on my mind...the long ones...awal muharram...jamadil awal akhir...syaaban rabiul awal akhir. Then I got blank and asked agent for help. The answer : SYAWAL...I was like huh? The hint was there la...I was like...ghezzzzz....am I that stupid?!!

Here's the questions and answers for my segments taken from javajoh.blogspot.com

Round 1
Round 2

Got lots of questions on entertainment. Managed to answer only 1 (Selain Neo, apakah nama watak Keanu Reeves dlm filem The Matrix-THOMAS ANDERSON). Aiyaaa...why la tanya pasal hiburan....akak tak minat sangat artis2 nih.

Apa Nama penuh Era...
Siapa pengarah filem Panglima Badul...
Siapakah yg mempopularkan lagu Mengapa Harus Cinta...
Apakah nama penuh Idayu AF3...
Lagu Cintaku Pergi nyanyian Reshmonu dimuatkan dlm album yg bertajuk...

Tho I didn't win...still got away with RM1090 and jewelery worth over RM200. Easy money ehh..Alhamdulillah syukur.

Manchester United vs Bolton 20/03/2008

Game : EPL
Date : 20/3/2008
Result : Man United 2 Bolton 0
Goals : Cristiano Ronaldo min 9 and 20

Cristiano Ronaldo was handed the captain's armband and he proven to everyone that he deserved it...and played marvelously by scoring 2 early goals that secured Man United on the top of the league with 3 points advantage over Arsenal. Chelsea were held for a draw with Tottenham...that makes the league's table look like it belong to United and United alone....Sweettttt...

Man United will face Liverpool on sunday night...wah mamaks sure untung besar la that day. Thinking of going to mini Old Trafford at Hartamas Square this sunday...

Anyway...Glory Glory Man United!!!!! The Reds are marching ON ON ON!!!!

Salam Maulidur Rasul

Today muslims around the world is celebrating Maulidur Rasul...the birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W (peace be upon him) on 12 Rabi' al-awal. The Prophet died on the same day of his 63rd birthday.

Salawat and Salam to the Greatest Messenger of Allah...

I would like to share with you the story of prophet Muhammad. The information is taken from http://www.anwary-islam.com/, where you can get great stories on prophets of Islam.

Muhammad (pbuh) was born in Mecca ( Makkah), Arabia, on Monday, 12 Rabi' Al-Awal (2 August A.D. 570). His mother, Aminah, was the daughter of Wahb Ibn Abdu Manaf of the Zahrah family. His father, 'Abdullah, was the son of Abdul Muttalib. His genealogy has been traced to the noble house of Ishmael, the son of Prophet Abraham in about the fortieth descend. Muhammad's father died before his birth.

Before he was six years old his mother died, and the doubly orphaned Muhammad was put under the charge of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib who took the most tender care of him. But the old chief died two years afterwards. On his deathbed he confided to his son Abu Talib the charge of the little orphan.

When Muhammad was twelve years old, he accompanied his uncle Abu Talib on a mercantile journey to Syria, and they proceeded as far as Busra. The journey lasted for some months. It was at Busra that the Christian monk Bahira met Muhammad. He is related to have said to Abu Talib: 'Return with this boy and guard him against the hatred of the Jews, for a great career awaits your nephew."

After this journey, the youth of Muhammad seems to have been passed uneventfully, but all authorities agree in ascribing to him such correctness of manners and purity of morals as were rare among the people of Mecca. The fair character and the honorable bearing of the unobtrusive youth won the approbation of the citizens of Mecca, and b y common consent he received the title of "Al Ameen," The Faithful.

In his early years, Muhammad was not free from the cares of life. He had to watch the flocks of his uncle, who, like the rest of the Bani Hashim, had lost the greater part of his wealth.
From youth to manhood he led an almost solitary life. The lawlessness rife among the Meccans, the sudden outbursts of causeless and bloody quarrels among the tribes frequenting the Fair of Okadh (The Arabian Olympia), and the immorality and skepticism of the Quraish, naturally caused feelings of pity and sorrow in the heart of the sensitive youth. Such scenes of social misery and religious degradation were characteristic of a depraved age.

Pasta & Kuey Teow...

2 of my friends asked me to post more home-made food images...hehehe the truth is I don't often cook so there's not much photos that I can snap la...

Well I did cook last night and today so now I can post the latest collection of my cooking :)

Chicken Pasta
The simplest pasta to make...

1) Heat vege oil and saute garlic and onion.
2) Add chicken and shitake mushroom and cook until tender.
3) Season with a pinch of salt, black pepper and dried mixed herbs.
4) Add milk (I prefer full cream) and let the liquid reduce.
4) Add chopped tomato.
5) Mixed everything well to blend the tastes.

Kuey Teow in Meat Soup

That meat is not beef...it was Kijang/Antelope I think...not deer or doe or roe) ...very tender.
I'll post the recipe later coz suddenly I feel too sleepy to blog. Barely open my eyes...

Man United vs Derby 15/03/2008

Game : EPL
Date : 15/3/2008
Result : Man United 1 Derby 0
Goals : Cristiano Ronaldo min 75

Sing along with me!

Glory glory Man united,
Glory glory Man united,
Glory glory Man united,
As the reds go marching on! on! on!

Huhuhu...the Reds is on top of the Premiership. Sweet moment for Man United to lead the league with the advantage of 1 game over Arsenal. Lets hope they remain where they are right now...with 9 more matches to go.

------------------------------------------------------------------

As for the Champions League update, Man United have been drawn to face Roma (again!) in the quarter finals. The first leg is at Roma's side on 1/4/2008 and the second leg at Old Trafford on 9/4/2008.

This is going to be the 3rd time in this season for United played against Roma. United won 1-0 at Old Trafford on 2/10/2007 before drawing 1-1 at Stadio Olimpico on 12/12/2007.

Last season my team steamrolled Roma in second leg with 7 -1, won the tie 8 -3 to advanced to Semi-finals. Roma will definately want some revenge for their terrible defeat. I'm excited to see what can both teams bring to the table this time around.

My Weekend without Telephone Line

Images below showed the root of my weekend suffering.

I was in the middle of experimenting multiple phone connectors when my land line suddenly went toneless on saturday morning. I tried to contact the usual Telekom fault reporting number (100) using my handphone but the no not valid. I called telephony and the rep gave me toll-free no(1300-888123). I made the report around 11am on saturday but didn't get any follow up from them. I called again at night bout 8pm but still no update tho I saw a cable guy worked on something in the evening.

On sunday afternoon my mom made the call again and raised her voice to the rep...finally the rep told Mak that the problem was due to a fault in the cable. Ermmm...not sure if it was really me causing the problem...It just didn't sounds right that making multiple connections from a single line could blew up the cable points.

Well...Hehehe...nevermind loh...as long as the problem is fixed then case closed...I checked the line just now and THERE"S A TONE!!!! Yeay....back online again huhuhu....I'm happy.

Manchester United Bulk Reviews

I just couldn't keep up with Man united updates. All the things that happened around me these past few weeks had taken my attention away from football. But I'm back now...
feeling both proud and dissapointed at the same time.

Whazzup Premier League...Hello Champions League...Bye bye FA Cup...Farewell treble trophies...

1) Barclays Premier League

My team still trailing Arsenal...but we're still 1 game behind them. Man United will play against Derby County this saturday night/ sunday morning. I am worry about this match because United need to win this game to top the league. If they lose, they might never catch up with Arsenal and Chelsie will take over United's position.

Here's the latest table taken from www.manutd.com :

2) UEFA Champions League

Man United won the second leg of the first knockout round against Lyon last week. Both temas draw 1-1 after the first leg so United is going through to quarter-final with 2-1 aggregate. Yeay!!!
The quarter final draw will be held today. These are the teams up for the draw:

- Manchester United
- FC Schalke 04
- AS Roma
- Chelsea
- FC Barcelona
- Fenerbahce SK
- Arsenal
- Liverpool

I'm nervous...but excited as well. Please let it not be another team from England. Just wait and see...

3) FA Cup

I felt very dissapointed that Portsmouth beat United in quarter final after the sweet 4-0 victory over Arsenal earlier. Its over now...lets hope United will go all the way in Premier League and Champions Leauge.

Match Schedules - March to April 2008

Till later..i'm chanting Glory glory man united...

World Kidney Day Turn Out To Be Worst Parking Day

In conjunction with World Kidney Day held every second Thursday in March since 2006, HKL (Kuala Lumpur General Hostital) is holding talks, exhibitions and health checks today from 9:30am to 5pm. There will be a series of talks. Chef Wan Ismail is also scheduled to conduct a demonstration on healthy cooking in the afternoon. There is also a cooking contest before the demonstration.

What I want to share with you guys is not about my kidney, nor the kidney day at HKL. I planned to write about my day at HKL but unfortunately I didn't join the event...because I couldn't find a parking space at HKL. I want to tell you how pissed I am (still)....and this is my story.

My mother and I were planning to take parts in this kidney event since last week. She already registered both of us for the forum/ talk. This morning I drove to HKL excited to broaden my knowledge and my self awareness on the importance of kidney and deseases prevention through a public forum which was scheduled at 9:30am. We arrived at HKL before 8:30am and looking at main entrance I was surprised that the place not pack with people like any other public events I've been to before.

At first I was glad that HKL is now using a parking system. I thought they managed to overcome the parking problem that haunted visitors who had to drive to HKL. How wrong I was...I saw parking signs everywhere but then...the spaces are for their staffs only. I followed confusing directions on a narrow drive alley where cars were parked both ways, yet no signs of visitors parking area. I went to the back of the hospital where I used to park but it was full. There was once a car park area that now has turn to some construction site. It better be a new parking lots.

My take on this unfortunate event is that HKL still cannot resolve the parking problem even after they introduced a paid parking system. Why can't they just bring down some of the old rundown single storey buildings surrounding the area and build a multi-storey building like PPUM(University Hospital) with organised parking allocation for staffs and visitors.

I never thought that I can't find a single space after circling around buildings few times. My mom and I were beyond frustrated that we then left HKL. We off to Tanglin for breakfast. I was so f-ing mad sampai perut krok krek krok krek.

To be honest with you, the last time I ate the infamous Tanglin Nasi Lemak was in 2001. Back then there was no food court like today....only a stall with folding tables and chairs on a dirt . But as I remembered, the food quality was great and the potion was more generous than what I had this morning. RM4 for a plate of half full nasi lemak with 2 1/2 pieces of sotong and a spoon full of chopped limpa. Aiyah makin untung makin kedekut...but if the taste is good takpa la tapiii *sigh* I officially crossed Tanglin nasi lemak from my list of "where to go for breakfast". They maybe well known and popular judging from the long queues and number of orders they made but sorry to say it just didn't satisfy my tastebud anymore la...

Okay liao...enough for today...enjoy your day! Oh ya...stay away from HKL unless you are using public transport...hahahaha...ciao.

Mind, Body and Eye therapy at IKEA

Spent the whole evening at IKEA in Mutiara Damansara yesterday with my cousin until the place closed. We wanted to clear our minds from the whole hypes on election and other hazy and fuzzy stuffs that surrounded us. IKEA is the best place for self therapy...better than retail therapy itself. Just let loose and venture your own imagination and creativity while enjoying their interior ideas. Of course you can't help yourself from grabbing few items as "souveniers" from your visit...but hopping from one showroom design to another is like finding yourself transfered to different world. Well at least that is how I feel everytime I go to IKEA.

Pidah bought few plants for her mom and herself as well as wall clock and some other stuffs. As for me...hehehe I only bought a RM5 green pot plant for my room.

Another best thing about IKEA is the free refill coffee and mustard at their food court. I'm a coffee lover so what can I say. I managed to drink 3 cups only last night coz I need my beauty sleep. Ermm...Mustard? Yep I'm a mustard crazy...Love to eat the meatballs with mustard and chilli sauce rather than the gravy that comes with it.

The new look of my work station...

OK loh...I want to play Pool game at Yahoo!. Later mater...
