Masak Lemak Cili Padi Nenas & Ikan Masin dan Fried Cambah with su'un
Mak made the masak lemak while I made that fried cambah.
You guys know what is "Cambah"? If any of you wonder what the heck on earth is cambah, it is a name for the young bean sprout (Taugeh) made of mung bean or kacang hijau in malay. Difference between taugeh and cambah is determined by the length of sprouts. Cambah should not be longer than 1cm.
This is how you can make your own bean sprout at home (healthier-no preservative or whatever thing they put in the one we bought in groccery shop/supermarket:
1) Soak mung beans in water overnight.
2) The next day, the beans will look like seeds. Drain the bean on a clean wet cloth and leave at room temperature for another day or two depending on how you want the sprout to grow.
Note : Don't leave the bean without moist for more than 2 days...
