A Dissapointing Night at Umbai Jetty for Two KL Girls
By Koppuccino.blogspot.com
Kuala Lumpur : Two girls decided to go to Umbai, Melaka yesterday night to dine in the famous, well known seafood stall called Parameswara Ikan Bakar (grilled fish) at Umbai-Pernu Grilled Fish Centre. To their great dissapointment, the mentioned stall failed to lift up to the expectations in these girls' minds despite of the popularity and recommendations received through Internet, TV food channel and from word of mouths. They left the place broken hearted and lost hope for a shot of the ultimate "Ikan Bakar" dining experience.
According to one of the girls, Honey AJ from Cheras, last night event was the third in a row upsets of their mission to find the best charcoal grilled Ikan Bakar around Malaysia. Last year they went to Johor Bahru, Cherating and Tanjung Lumpur in Pahang without any success of experiencing simple yet tasty charcoal grilled ikan bakar. Last month they paid a visit to Pantai Remis in Selangor but the stall they went only served grilled cockles as they were out of fresh fish stock due to the Aidiladha celebration.
The only thing that saved the two girls broken hearts were the free Nasi Lemak given to them being the last two customers in which they ate for breakfast today. unfortunately it still doesn't help to mend their bitterness towards Umbai.
