Just came back from "jalan jalan cari makan" with my mom. The original plan was to buy Kuih Akok (a kelantanese traditional sweet pasties) at Cheras Downtown Ramadhan Bazaar. Arrived there around 8:30pm but the stalls were already closed! I thought they're going to open til 9 or 10pm. A little dissapointed, I felt like having a glass of Kluang Station's Iced Coffee. So off we went to Tesco Ampang and "lepak" there. Surprisingly, I bumped into 2 old friends. I'm happy that they are still a couple tho no rings yet on both fingers. We went to the same college and then flew to UK together. Had a great time having them in Nottingham and then visited them at Teesside. I did some traveling with them too to Alton Towers, London and Newcastle. Old memories flashes back when I think of them whom I called "Pa and Ma". We sort of lost contact for a while coz nobody tried to keep in touch with each other after we went back to Malaysia (my excuse: Busy getting on with life...them:I don't know). So its good to meet again after a long long time...tho unintentionally.
Anyway back to the original post! After Tesco, me and my mom decided to drived around town covering Jalan Ampang and the Golden Triangle. Made a quick stop at Kampung Baru to buy Nasi Lemak for sahur then headed to Bukit Bintang. The new Pavillion mall at the old Bukit Bintang Girl School(BBGS) looks very impressive from the outside. I was looking for a view of Tun Dr Mahathir's bakery shop called "The Loaf" but missed it. One day I will definately come and try the unique iced coffee and a croissant at The Loaf as suggested by Tun's daughter Marina in her blog. The Bukit Bintang area is still jam packed at 11pm...that place is never sleep...heaven to tourists and those who enjoy late strolls like me back during my college years.
Now I'm back at home...just ate half of the nasi lemak meant for the sahur and now waiting for the Man United match against Roma.
I snapped some photos but my usb port is still kapoot and I forgot to give my cousin the memory card to upload to her PC. Dang this desktop need a major upgrade...or a replacement really! But I love "her" so dearly to let her go. With AMD Athlon processor 1.10GHz and 240MB of RAM, I wonder how I can still survive with this darling all these years. We've been through some good times and bad times together. I can't live without her even for a day. She witnessed the struggles I had with my programming codes and designs back during my studies and my jobs up until now. She still loyal to me eventhough I've erased her memories few times, left her naked in the open and always let her worked days and nights without sleep for over 72 hours.
OK OK OK I know I'm out of the post topic and sounded like lesbian...but let me continue a little bit more so she knew I'm praising her. Why my PC is a she and not he??? Coz only girls/women has the qualities of strengths, determination, bravery, hardworks and loyalty despite self limitations...just like what my PC has shown me. I am a feminist although I don't consider myself a feminine but I do sounds like one hehehe...
